ABOUT GREEN STREET GREEN COMMUNITY CHOIR
We are a joyous choir who sing in four parts. We are known for challenging ourselves and taking on ambitious works and collaborations with other choirs. In addition, the choir performs three concerts a year on their own, raising money for two local charities. Icare and The Maypole Project, both in the village of Green Street Green.
No audition is needed. Our aim is that all who wish to sing, are welcome to sing, whether you can read music or not. Our members musical and singing ability is wide ranging. We pride ourselves on being friendly and welcoming, which is key for members to enjoy making music together.
Currently our membership stands at 35. We operate a 'pay as you go' system, meaning that you do not pay if you cannot attend. This benefits members with busy lives.
Our repertoire is carefully chosen with the aim to challenge, excite and inspire all singers within the choir.
